And with this post, I am officially starting a new blog called The Pursuit of Purity!

I came up with the idea of this blog a long time ago, but I wanted to wait until the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes to actually release it. =]

My hope for this blog is that I can promote a movement inspired by the Holy Spirit that encourages Christians to seek purity and chastity in their daily lives.

While I’m still not exactly sure as to how I will go about the format and the content of this blog, I plan to post personal reflections, teachings of the Catholic Church, stories of the lives of the saints, and hopefully user-submitted testimonies.

I’m not sure if this blog will ever “take off,” but that’s not the point! I hope to merely accomplish what God is asking of me right now, and so far, I’ve discerned that he wants me to do the best I can, through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, to help others pursue purity within the Tumblr community.
